Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing has been well-ordered by the Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to take speedy action against any person or group elaborate in dishonoring or criticizing the name of Pakistan Army on social media.
He definite that the Constitution of Pakistan permits for freedom of countenance but that assurance is not applicable to substances of security and defense. The constitution obviously says that when it comes to stuffs of defense or any related organization, it cannot be evaluated publicly and no citizen is permissible to pamper in any activity which can harmfully impact the prestige, esteem and the status of the armed forces of Pakistan.
His community statement said, “Deriding the army or its officers under the costume of freedom of expression is offensive.”
Chaudhry Nisar said that aiming a disciplined and alleged organization of Pakistan was not only a staple of concern but a serious crime and strict action will be taken contrary to those who are complex in the deed, notwithstanding of whether it was intentional or unintentional.
FIA has been absorbed by the minister to take action contrary to all people complex in such a condemnable act without several discrimination and nevertheless of their party association, group or profession.
Sources recommend that these orders were issued after social media users started analyzing military establishment after its current issue with the government over the Dawn Leaks matter. Social media opponents have been questioning the ISPR’s public denial of an order distributed from the PM office.
The debated tweet has since been recanted by ISPR spokesmen, however, it ruins undeleted. Many are indicating out the army’s tolerant stance over the Dawn Leaks matter.
